That's why I'm having a go at most stuff myself. The sparks is a mate so I'll be chasing my own walls out. Fitted my own spots in teh =ceiling and wired them up without setting fire to the place.
If I have a stab and get it wrong I'll phone a mate to help me out. Got to learn somehow even if some lessons are more painfull than others
Exactly! I have electrocuted myself in 2 out of the 4 rooms I have done so far
so I have learnt to turn ALL electrics off now not just the odd room! (that zoning issue is sorted now!)
the only thing I dont do myself is the plastering! Father in law is a decorator by trade so has shown me the ropes, lining paper is a piece of piss now
This was my 3rd room ever! (Minus a light fitting)
