in all seriousness now, i'd drain your oil as a matter of course to check if the sump is full of fuel... it wouldn't be the first time i've seen it. if it is, you're best off checking you've got it all wired up correctly.
another thing, how was the engine standing all that time? dry? damp? full of oil?
im not sure how it was kept but when i picked it up it was in a barn covered up an had bout a pint of oil in when i drained it.
