They use dual core intel processors and motherboards, they use DDR Ram and they suffer the name bottle necks as a PC, they are still wrapped in a plastic case.
Hell Apple do not even make the OS, its based on an open source and FREE BSD called Darwin.
If you buy a PC you get the build quality of a toyota, if you buy a mac for the same money you get a lower powered version of the same thing but with the prestige and quality of the Lexus badge.
Have no doubt all Mac's are overpriced for the specification, and I say that as a massive fan of the system
