My oil pressure switch is tapped into there as well.
The oil temp sender is plumbed into a special fitting on the sump....prevously it fitted into a specially modified sump plug that Mike Rainbird was able to get made up at an engineering place local to him. That did the job just as well to be honest and was easy to fit at the time of the next oil change
