I was insured fully comp when a DD hit me, wrote my bike off, spent 19 months in hospital, 3 months in coma etc.
I did not get a penny from my insurers, it was NU that I was insured with, and yes I had two different solicitors on the case.

OMG thats awful, do you have any long-term injuries? At the time his parents paid some of the bills then the other driver admitted fault luckly. He was in a mk4 fiesta and was hit head on, he was doing 30mph, the other driver was doing 60mph. The whole car was crushed around him and his shin bone went through his knee cap, it ruined his career in golfing and now struggles to drive manual cars.. I believe people who get caught drink-driving should be instantly banned for life.. No ifs no buts!!
