is it worth getting some adjustable verniers and forged pistons and conrods now or when block is stripped down (i intend getting all parts over a period of time as i`m not loaded (who is with a cossie?)) i also intend getting a closed loop lambda sensor with a l8 ecu (hopefully sorted from M.A.D.) probably before rebuild etc,

please help as i want to do it right first time, hopefully i am on the right track but i`m sure i`ll be told otherwise if not.

dont waste your money on forged stuff, the standard internal will cope with 450-500bhp, thankfully from factory the YB was over engineered for the small bhp it was putting out

if your on a budget imo i wouldnt bother going for after market management

if your only using a t34, L8 and standard internals will be more than enough
