The trigger rings brackets and conversion parts that Jano sells are water/laser cut then machined true for 100% reliablity then cleaned. The parts cost exactly what they are worth and he does not over charge or take the piss with prices which he could!
The other factor is, if you can use a secondhand altenator which is working fine and only pay £20 for it..... why would you need or want to spend £90+exchange for a new one?
The same goes for the parts you mentioned. Why would anyone want to pay some silly price for a new pulley, when you can buy a secondhand one with no faults issues or any other problem for £10?
Also just before i leave, a NEW bottom pulley made from high quality Alloy in 5rib or Vbelt with trigger wheels 36-1 and 4 pickup are available from Jano to fit a CVH ZVH or ZT16v just like you said..... and has been available for 6 months plus, the fact is people choose secondhand items over the new items due to the costs.
So i think you will be mistaken on a few of your points.
