see what boost its holding and when its on boost will help answer,, you might have the cam timing out by 1 tooth which will make it feel slower low down
certanly does feel slower lower down than what it used to be, but higer rev range it kicks in good, 3.5rpm upwards (i have changed the water pump

havent got a boost guage, what is a top one to get ginge that gives a accurate reading?
