I posted up a thread last week about potentially purchasing a Saxo VTR as a runabout. I went ahead with the deal and i've been running about in it for the past week, however I have just been offered a deal on a Vectra 1.8 LS.

The Vectra is an R reg, has 16" Fox alloys MoT March 09 Tax Nov 08 134k but plenty of history. The Saxo is an R reg also, bog standard MoT Feb 09 Tax Sept 08 116k plenty of history.

Deal is Vectra + 200 notes for the Saxo but unsure whether to go for it or not.

The Vectra would be better in that its a bigger car so would be handy for when I need to cart lots of gear around but unsure - what you would you do in the same position?
