for the record the guy came and inspected he was happy at the time,so its his fault but then again you are a trader which in Wills eyes will always make you wrong

In this instance, the item being sold is clearly off the car it should be, the bloke came and checked them, and was happy. If they were warped to fuck on fitting then he has a right to ask for a refund as there is no way of checking them easily without special equiptment or fitting them to the car.

Bit different to selling someone a bent crank thats meant to be mint, for top money without even taking it to the engineering shop to get checked and polished, which costs about £10 to make sure you are not selling junk

Seems 95% of the people agree on this thread that Alex is well in the right. If I came to you and bought 2wd brake discs, then tried to fit them to a 4x4, i'm sure you would tell me or anyone else where to go if they asked for thier money back?
