It sounds like what most of the others are saying, so its your choice, but i am getting a remap done in a few weeks on my 1.6 TDCI focus 2007


and why is that? what bad experience do you actually have of these?

the beauty of having the box yourself is that YOU control when it is returned to stock for servicing etc, take the huge choice available for teh focus ST for example, dreamscience (that i run) bluefin, code red, all of which are hand held programmers that allow you to load the cutom map, return to stock, read and reset fault codes and then sell the unit on if you ever sell the car. selling the car with aJUST a remap looses your investment alltogether.
