i read on an american car forum that if you have got bucket seats (the type with the fixed backs) that you should also have a roll cage or a roll bar at the very least.

is this true? i have read some crap and porkies on USA forums so am sceptical about what info some of them post.

i've got fixed-back buckets in mine, using the standard 3-point seatbelts. i have no roll cage (yet) but the car has passed the MOT with these seats fitted.
