I took out the fuel pump as the engine would not fire and yet I could hear the pump running.I had already slackened off the fuel filter union to check if fuel was getting there but no.The pump had come off the damper which sits between the pump and the outlet.Do you know if its possible to fit a remote pump rather than one which has to go back in the tank.Once I have got everything running I intend to take it for a rolling road check,there is one in Wakefield 12 miles away.Dave
