one of my mates' ones had a melted black wire from the ECU, under the fusebox ad into the car behind te dash, he replaced most of the ignition system too, and then borrowed my ecu. this is when we noticed!
yeah iv been messing round with th same wire gos right up into the ignition never noticed if it was melted though iv also put a new ecu onit new dizzy (£150 wot a rip) new plugs new coil new new dizzy cap and arm i will check that wire again cheers i no its gunna be something real simple but its had me baffled for 6 months nearly
