Unfortunately the K&N air filter i have bought off a friend for my xr2 will not fit my carb. The mounting plate is square with four screw holes and my carb has three screw holes within a circular surrounding lip.

Please see the following links for pictures of the currently installed airbox and the K&N mounting plate supplied.

If there is anybody who has any idea what i could do to get the K&N to fit or the reason why it doesn't fit my carb please reply to this topic!

I am aware that there were two webber carbs made for the xr2, is this the K&N for the earlier carb?
