people dont give a fcuk anymore
1) RAC are RAC Autowindscreens, not Autoglass. Autoglass is a different company - RAC Autowindscreens are dicks.....

2) it's a tax disc holder, get over it! - and yes they do, in most cases (99%) of the time split as dealers use cheap plastic that dries in the sun and tears when you try and remove them. I know as I remove 6-7 tax discs a week, and BMW are the worst of all of them. Any BMW dealer will give you a new holder, if not a bundle, for free if you ask them.

3) Sorry to hear you had the wrong screen. What you should have had was a solar with green top tint (solar being the reflective coating you can see in the laminate) Possibly might have had a moisture/light sensor on the screen aswell (below the mirror) As for manager saying it was right when it wasn't - see point 1

4) it DOES take a week for the bond to dry, and there is little point trying to remove a screen before this time - especially on a 3 series that has material covered a-post trims that if even a spec of glue gets on you will NEVER get it off. And yes, there is a very high chance the screen will be broken trying to remove it - unless of course you specialise in removing screens without damaging them or the car, such as myself The trim will defintely be ruined, but new trims are ten a penny for these - not a problem.

5) Some do, like myself. If a screen is not right/correct, I won't fit it - simple. Unless of course the customer approves the differences and signs to say so. I will fit a top tint screen or "higher spec" screen (such as a solar) into a vehicle that doesn't have one as standard (ie, many E36 beemers didn't have top tints - non top tint screens are nigh on impossible to get as BMW superceeded them with top tint only screens, so if I go to a non-top-tint car with a top tint screen, then I'll fit it as the guy is getting a better screen for no extra charge. I won't, however, do it the other way round... Way I see it, you get what you already have, or get a better one for free
