Good luck but I think what some of the guys have offered is your best option, buy stuff on Ebay and get it sent to their address and collect from there.
or cut the middle man/Pf man and get it posted to ur house
when i reatored my 1949 beetle, i was buying parts from german and dutch ebay every week. postage was very reasonable.
bigest item was a rear bench seat and 4 steel wheels, only cost about £9 shipping
go on to ur ebay.de account, go to home page. at bottom there will be a community/world list click on ebay.uk and you can buy stuff from uk on ur german account!
