Hopefully someone can shed some light on this -

I fitted an uprated Bosch fuel pump to my Escos this weekend. I got it finished this afternoon, and the car runs. However the pump makes a really loud "grinding" noise - you can hear it over the engine if you stand about ten feet from the car. I've checked that the fuel sender isn't touching the bodywork - it just seems a very noisy pump.

I can't believe its supposed to be this loud - does it look like I've got a faulty pump?
