Shin Splints Help !!
Hi guys not posted in here before but reading the threads a couple of months ago got me really motivated.
About 2 1/2 years ago my mrs gave birth to our first little girl, at the time i was working shifts which included nights, i packed in the gym and up till recently i was blaming it on not having the time, i have now woken up and realised its down to me not making the time. My mrs has just not long had our second (and last!!) little girl and she is on paternity leave form work now, this now leaves me with evenings free as she usually worked evenings.
Anyway ive been back in the gym for about 2 months and i am loving every second, ive lost 4Kg so far and i am starting to get stronger but i think i have shin splints, this is a right basterd as i was really making progress on the treadmill and was planning of cutting down the cardio and just doing the treadmill and upping my weight training.
Is there anyway surefire way of getting rid of them or am i confined to the xtrainer forever??
Thanks Mike
