I am personally insured with GreenLight on my focus, however i emailed greenlight asking for a quote on my dads rs cosworth.

They came back and the amount was fine but he doesnt have the certificate of when the alarm was fitted over 17 years ago.

Does this mean i have to get another alarm for the car ? ... the reason i ask is we've it had it since it was 6 months old and when i buy the car later this year and go to insure it are other companies going to ask the same question. The car isnt modified at all aswell.

or can anyone help on this matter, any help would be grateful.
