You can buy a complete mini that is not rotten for a few quid from a car auction.
Why weld anything, just buy one that isnt rotten, seems a lot more simple and cheaper.

why not weld in the roof skin you cut off the rotten mini? it should be safe to bond it in though as long as the bonding agent is strong enough jaguar roof are only bonded in aswell as other cars hope this helps .
thats what i was thinking, if they can bond plane wings on, im sure it will do for a mini roof!
