That was one of several cracks
And on two wheels, the central hub area had literally moved out at least 10mm, or more accurately speaking the wheel rim had bent "in" by 10mm. The rear of the spokes was skimming the bleed nipples on the calipers which first drew my attention to the problem.
Weighed them in for scrap today and got £32 for them

Paid £100 for them (off Ebay) and £200 for the Fluo Yellow powder coat. Thought they'd make ace track wheels.
Bit miffed, but glad no damage to persons or car.
