ever had a wheel nut come loose but I still get the bloody torque wrench out when the car has done only 4 competitive miles since I last did it
Its either paranoia or it just gives you (or the service crew) something to do in service half the time.
Fluid levels and tyre pressures follow the same routine too
Competition / track driving is nothing like road or even "fast road" driving so you can never predict whats going to happen.
Unfortunatly its too late for you to learn now Jim which im gutted about, but lets hope others learn from it.
