on a 4x4 sapphire cos? attempted to replace the engine mounts today, undid all the bolts so that the mounts were loose, had the weight of the engine on the jack, jacked the engine up to try lift over the thread on the mounts but couldn't jack it up any further as we didn't want to break anything else. so then tried to loosen the bracket thats connected to the block and the mount but couldn't get to the last bolt (i think theres 5 in total). so, tommorrow we are going to re-attempt, but is there an easier way than taking all of the plenum off, and whatever is needed on the exhaust side to get the mounts off? any help would be greatly appreciated! cheers.
