For me netgear all the way. Work in IT, setup about 20 of these, never had an issue. I have noticed the newer ones they have tried to improve the setup with a wizard thing which is actually a pain in the arse and doesn't work (or didn't the one time i tried) so I wonder if this is the problem stephen had. If you connect onto the old fashion way to the IP, then add your connection details and setup security etc its fine.

As for orange live box, don't get me started, biggest piece of crap out there IMO!
