Im thinking of buying an escort cosworth and one of the ones im going to look at is supposed to be a 1996 big turbo model?????

Is this possible or will it be a small turbo thats been converted, the guy seems perfectly genuine i must say, its just i dont know a huge amount about cossies yet.

The car is purple ive been told so either jewel or aubergine if that helps.

What should i look for when i go to view it??

Also how troublesome are gearboxes and diffs ive heard different storys??
