you must declare all mods to be legally insured, it is a mug and fool that doesn't..
if the insurance company found out even before a crash then they will cancel your insurance and good luck in finding an insurerer that will then actually take you on as a customer..
they will not pay out at all if they found the car to be modded after a crash..
you have been warned..
