Putting this up on behalf off my bro, as i think he is ready to weigh it in, as its really getting to him.

Its a J plate 4x4 saph. Standard engine, ran well until last week broke down and wont start. Amate suggested the phase sensor so he bought a full sensor kit and new plugs and fitted them all yesterday...however not much differance. The car will fire and run, then just cut out after a wee while of running, sometimes does start and just turns over, clicking and making wierd almost screeching noises???

Also been suggested that it could be the sensor that is on the passenger inner wing, is it the ignition module??

Ant thoughts or pointers would be greatful as he is going mad and dont want to see it getting neglected or broken!!!
