A decent dvr like say dedicated micros, good stuff , but for night your best going for black and white as already said, also i use cameras that are colour at day and black and white at night, so best of both worlds but again not the cheapest thing in the world, the dvr just input ip address etc etc from there its not to hard to remote view if you have the cash

Again i would only recommend hard wired stuff.
