HEAD IS OFF.
and
cant see anything wrong, valves seem to be seating ok, and only tiniest of tiny marks on pistons 1 & 4, so im guessing it was the tappets all along, holding the valves open. (then spring compression after a while sealing them again)
very very odd.
Bottom end is perfect no wear lip and still has all the hone markings on the bores.
So anyone seen this before? i presume is a case of the tappets locking fully open.
Going to take the head to tremona garage tomorrow for them to give it a once over before i install it.
