In my opinion ephedrine is about 1/10 the strength of speed and lasts about 4hrs, whereas speed is 12'ish hours. Speed is more euphoric/enjoyable, whereas efe is more like a 'wake me up'.
Do a bit og googling and you will find online suppliers of ephedrine as it isnt illegal in all countries, or ask down your local gym (obviously get matey with the people down there first, dont just come out with it
)
