The Zetec oil pumps are renowned in the single seater series for shattering over 7800 rpm with continued abuse and all of them use a dry sump as standard in there 150bhp cars
Aparently in the Zetecs its due to harmonics of the engine at this RPM
Some people fit billet gears into the zetec but really its like a polishing a turd if you know what i mean
Aren't the two mentioned pumps a different design totally to the Cosworth?
