WRC cars run a wet sump pal.....homologation rules meant they had too, as do all the current WRC's....
Dry sumps IMO should only be used if the application calls for it i.e. clearnance issues, full race car conditions, the dry sumps themselves can be a headache, i have known of people not connecting them proper and causing engine damage and people who havn't primed them properly resulting in a knackered motor, the extra pipework and hardware in track day or rally escort is just un-necessary....
Personally if I had doubts and issues with oil surge i'd probably fit an accusump.....
