Ah, fair enough then, I was just worried that number 1 was low down the bore when you took the cams out, and hadnt had enough time turning over to give a correct result, but if you went back afterwards and did it again, that rules that out anyway.
Do you have a compressor and not a leak down tester, or not even a compressor?
If you have a compressor, then drill a hole in a spark plug, and pump compressed air in using it as an apdaptor, and listen for where it comes out.
