I have a black screen and the keyboard area is a light silver and it hasn't worn at all where i rest my hand by the mouse pad. Only bits that have worn is the mute and volume buttons so now they are see through and the light shows through which happened within a couple of weeks of buying it lol. Havn't had any problems with it at all
