Looking to buy a VW Corrado soon to use as a daily driver instead of my XR2 (worlds WORST daily driver ).

Fancy a Corrado to just lower on coilovers with a nice set of rims. But, which engine is best? Anyone had much experience with them?

Tempted to go VR6 but petrol consumption isn't going to be great and they go for a fair bit more money but they seem to come in the better colours and specs obviosuly.

G60 doesnt really interest me as they seem to go for good money when I wouldnt really use the performance.

So I am looking at the 1.8 or 2.0 16 valve, but ive read the 2.0 ones especially are sluggish? Now as stated I dont want a fast one but i want something respectable!

Anyone driven a 2.0 or 1.8? Are they that bad?
