mate blocks hurt just as much as the kicks,,,,,,, we have made the bloke use a body pad for the kick practise as when he wanted the next guy to start he would hold hes leg or arm up and block,,,, the pain in my fucking shins from it
aint about toughening up though, just about male bonding more than anything as you need ALOT of trust to spare against people bigger and alot stronger than you and know they aint gonna get the humo nad play REAL rough
