i agree, the actual stamina training and "warm up" fucking kills me, then its learning blocks/kicks/punches at 1 min sets,,,,,, at 30 seconds of punching the same 2 shots your shoulders just fucking hurt,,, the next 30 seconds are a bastard and feel like a life time

sparing is ment to show contact but not so much force but where to place a shot and discover open areas ect

ju jitsu is also fun, though its wierd having a sweaty bloke lying on top of me pinning me down and pulling my legs apart wuth hes legs till i double tap the floor
pmsl at having a sweaty bloke on top of ya.
dont try saying thats the first times thats happened now ginge.

what u said is exactually what i found.
warm up and training really tough.
and sparking with pads etc supprisingly painfull.

u watch people doing it and think nothing of it.
but when u stand there and have someone hit ya through a huge thick pad its amazing how much u have to lean into to so that it dont knock u right back.
was even worse when i done it as it was kicks as well.

i rekon if i'd stuck with it after a few months it would of really of fittened and toughened me up.
