The RP labs one only works out as a competitive package if you already have an L8 ECU, whereas the Escort is P8, so he would have to buy an L8 and then have that converted.
It still then doesn't have the number of mapping points (or all the features) as the Autronic, which runs a 36-1 pulley like T6 etc.
I just didn't see the RP labs one as being applicable in this instance (just like despite being a T6 man, I didn't think this was applicable in this instance either
).
His tuner is familiar with Autronic, his tuner has maps for Autronic, his tuner suggested Autronic, so given that, I think that Autronic is the way to go in this instance
