How easy is this to set up?

I know that each PC needs network cards, I am guessing that I can just get a hub and plug it into the machine that will act as the server, then just run cables form the hub to each other machine?

The only reason for this is to use the internet on more than one PC, i realise that to access the internet the PC with the modem must be turned on also

Any thoughts?
