My old 144K mile calibra turbo will knock on 50mpg and do 160mph, so fail to see the big deal, hence why I thought you were claiming 50mpg at 147mph, as otherwise what you're claiming is underwhelming.
Can be laid to rest now it's been established it was a poorly worded and underwhelming statement
So your 144k Calibra Turbo averaged 50mpg?? must have been a special one!!
or did you mean on the motorway with the throttle held steady doing 60mph??
