thanks mate ,i just spent two hours with a pin data book and a multimeter ,i came to the same conclusion before i read your message any way the wires you have just described on that plug has a sixth wire [brown/ red] which when earthed operates a 3rd relay on the cossie engine loom ,the other two switched wires on the 3rd relay run back to the ecu Q............do you know what this does ... .......................................thanks really appreciate your help
