Answer: Because the world and his wife post EVERYTHING in GD.
The other rooms wouldn't be quiet if everybody posted in the right/relevant sections.... would they?

If you want to use ebay then use it but dont put a link to ebay on every website in the world ,,same with parts for sale

On ScoobyNet they don't allow any links to items for sale on eBay. On
every forum I use, everything is neat and tidy and if anything is posted in the wrong forum... it's moved.
On PF, GD is just an untidy mish mash of threads and if it didn't have the mouseover facilty to see what threads are about, I wouldn't bother coming on here. I'd be seriously pissed off having to click to open every thread and then find well over 50% of them are a load of rubbish.
Edited to add: There's 13 Mods for GD, surely between them they could move incorrectly posted threads. When I was a Mod on SN, there were far fewer Mods and we coped OK.
