get the grinder out then, i have but only run 235/40, easier to do on a 3 door as you can hide your grindings with the skirts

a proper adjustable rear beam is a must if its lower than std ride height (mines std height), you need the correct camber or its all over the place

no word of a lie mine used to light 5th gear up on std suspension, std wheels and shit tyres, that was peaking at just over 2 bar @ 3400rpm, now peaks at 2.6 bar and dont break traction from 3rd upwards unless its wet or im shift too aggressively

my suspension is still shit mind (koni's) so it can and will get better when i get the billies ive been promising myself for ages

oh and my rear tyres and continental sports
