apparently it transpires that the cheque was sent by the company that are handling the claim
and, once they sent the cheque they came to collect their courtesy car the same afternoon

so my insurance company hasn't actually done anything other than to pass the claim along to their accident manegement company who are dealing with it

that's about as far as i've been able to work it out and now they want my financial details for the past 3 months prior to the accident and up until i was paid a settlement for the car once they wrote it off

most of this time was due to the thrid party not admiting liability as he didn't tell his insurance company he'd twated me up the arse in his works van

does this scenario make sense to the legal begeals out there who might be doing this sort of thing?

or does it just mean the case dragging on and on, they were supposed to go to court last month as there was a daet set and everything so if they haven't, and i haven't been notificed of any changes, does this mean they've gon ehtere on my behalf or did the other side cave in and bottle it?

i want to ask but, at the same time, don't want to come across as a pleb who doesn't know what the fuck isgoing on lke i should do..............
