I did...I moved my scanner and msn messenger files into Program files. but these were already saved onto the comp, I simply moved them after giving myself the ownership.

Today I tried to d/l a program and use the 'auto-folder-location', which was program files as default..but got the result posted above.

Thanks for the vote on joining: problem is I'd be well out of depth on there and wouldn't be able to contribute much the other way round.
