Hi all

Over the last few weeks I have noticed that when I turn on the ignition on my focus 1.8 zetec the needles all go to maximum for a few seconds and then go back to normal, I have been told this happens if the battery has been disconected but I have not disconected and took it out tonight it did it when I first turned on and I drove to the petrol station (about 2 mile drive) filled up turned ignition on & it did it again. Is this a common problem or is something about to break??

Any advice much appreciated
