got the saitek at last .. just need to work out how to set up the joystick to use in bf2 now
flying is not too bad, been shot down once or twice
air to air combat is not my strong point at the minute
keyboard is on the want list as is that mouse
if you need a hand with the joystick give us a shout, i've done it all with my 3d pro.
best thing to do is to turn down the senstivaty for the planes and choppers (more on the choppers) until you get used to flying with the stick, then start to increase it.
as for air to air, all i can say is j10's!!! (chinas planes) they own EVERYTHING! they can out turn pretty much all the planes in the game although the f15 gives it a run for its money. stay well away from the f35 (the one that hovers) as its just crap at air to air, good for bombing though.
also a good tip is to keep the plane on bombs rather then having auto lock on, until ur in position to fire, that way the guy your chasin wont know whats hit him untill the last second
oh and never fire missles while turning, you'll never hit anything
