right when i took my head off i wound the crank round to tdc
however im a dumb fuck and didnt realise that either no 1 piston or 4 could be in the correct position for refitting a head. didnt realise it was either or, just assumed i went round to the marks and remove head. looked in haynes and made a boo boo
now i have come to refit a different head and i am not sure whether piston number 1 is in the correct postion or wether it needs to be wound round a full 360 degrees.
is there any way of finding out how to put piston number 1 in the correct position without the head on, how do i know?
