You'll find it even harder to put on weight if you're burning off all those extra calories your eating!

Whatever you do, make small changes. If you jump into a completely different diet straight away, you and your body won't like it and you'll revert back to normal. Start making small changes at each meal, maybe start to have something between meals too and slowly aclimatise your body to the changes.

Breakfast is also one of the most important meals so don't skimp on this.(i actually find it hard to eat straight away so don't have breaky until 60-90mins after getting up.

Good foods have been mentioned, spuds, fish, read meat(in moderation i would advise), don't be afraid of the odd burger especially as you have a fast metabolism. Cut the booze out too as this has negative effect and will reduce your bodys growth.

Don't train too often either. Most people fail because they go balls out and knacker themselves. I only train 3 times a week and over the past 10years have never consistently trained anymore than this. Stick to some of the bigger exercises such as bench, deadlifts and squats and concentrate on getting stronger on these exercises.

On the subject of supplements you pay your money and take your choice, I don't take a weight gain anymore, but they used to be almost pure sugar - not good. I do use a quality protein powder though(Maximuscle Pro Max) but changing your diet to consistently eat a little bit more will help

Consistency is the key, especially weekends when you may move away from your normal weekly routine. You have to concentrate on getting your meals in.

Good Luck.
